רשומה משפטית (מס' 13) מתוך פנקס בית דין בקהיר. בעברית. קהיר, י"ב באדר ב' ה'תנ"ג, היינו 1693. מסמך מס' 13: רישום מקוצר של כתובה, ובו רשימת נדוניה נרחבת שנשתמרה ברובה, אך חסר הקטע הרגיל של תכשיטי הזהב והכסף (ייתכן שהוא ממשיך בדף 1r של הביפוליו, במסמך מס' 8). שמותיהם המלאים של הכלה והחתן מופיעים בדף 5r: רחל בת יצחק די קוסטה ושלמה בן יצחק אשביב. שווייה הכולל של הכתובה גבוה למדי — 150,000 מדין. אחד מתנאי הנישואין הוא שרחל תסייע בגידול ילדיו של שלמה מ"אישה אחרת". מיד לאחר תנאי זה, בשורה 46 (בדף 5r) של הכתובה, מופיעה תניית המונוגמיה הסטנדרטית, מה שמרמז שהילדים נולדו מנישואים קודמים שהסתיימו בגירושין, או ששלמה היה אלמן. רשימת הנדוניה מפורטת מאוד וכוללת מונחים מקצועיים ורב־לשוניים לציון גוונים שונים של פריטי לבוש: "ורוד" (גולגולי, מן הטורקית-עות'מאנית), "ירוק־פיסטוק" (פוסתוקי), "ירוק" (ורדי), "כתום" (לארנגי). פריטים רבים רקומים או מקושטים בזהב או בכסף, ובעיקר בצורת פרחים. בקטע "הסדינים" (מלאייאת) נזכר פריט בשם "הולנדה" (אולאנדא), אולי בציון סגנון הולנדי של סדין ו/או שמקורו של הפריט בייצור הולנדי.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record (#13) in a court register/pinqas from a beit din in Cairo (on ff. 1v, 5r of T-S K22.27). In Hebrew. Location: Cairo. Dated 12 Adar II 5453 AM, which is 1693 CE. (Document #13) Abbreviated ketubba entry, with much of the dowry list intact, but lacking the common gold and silver jewelry section (which might continue onto bifolio 1r, as document #8 - PGPID 34880). The full names of the bride and groom appear on f. 5r: Raḥel bt. Yiṣḥaq De Costa and Shelomo b. Yiṣḥaq Ashbīb. The total valuation of the kettuba is quite high, at 150,000 medin. One of the conditions for the marriage is that Raḥel help raise the children Shelomo had with a "different wife." The standard monogamy clause follows this condition in l. 46 (f. 5r) of the ketubba, implying that the children were from a previous marriage/divorce or that Shelomo was a widower. The dowry list is extensive, with specialized/multilingual terms for many colors of clothing: "pink, rose-colored" (גולגולי from Ott. Turkish), "pistachio green-colored" (פוסתוקי), "green" (ורדי), "orange" (לארנגי). Many of the items are embroidered or ornamented with gold or silver, especially in the form of flowers. One item in the "bedsheets" section (מלאייאת) is named "Holanda" (אולאנדא), possibly indicating a Dutch style of sheet and/or that the item was produced in Holland. MCD.
