שריד של מכתב מאת שבתי בן אברהם החבר (הדיין של מנית זפתא, פעיל בשנים 1135–1178) אל נתן בן שמואל החבר (פעיל בשנים 1128–1164). מן המכתב נשתמרו רק השוליים העליונים והכתובת. בכתובת מביע שבתי איחולים להחלמתו של נתן, ובגוף המכתב הוא מדווח כי גם הוא עצמו חלה — עצם ברגלו שלא אוחתה כראוי — ומתנצל על שלא בא להציג את עצמו לפניו. הוא מציין שלא הגיע לפוסטאט מזה חמישה חודשים. המידע מבוסס על כרטיסי גויטיין.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter fragment from Shabbetay b. Avraham he-Ḥaver (the judge of Minyat Zifta, active 1135–78) to Natan b. Shemuel he-Ḥaver (active 1128–1164). This is the upper margin and the address only. Shabbetay includes a wish for Natan’s recovery in the address and reports that he was ill himself—with a bone in his leg that had not been set properly—and apologizes for not presenting himself.
