עדויות משפטיות המשובצות בתבנית של מכתב. העדויות נמסרו על ידי אבו אלח'יר ופרחיה בנוגע לתגרה פיזית בין המנהיג אבו אלבהא ובין אבו אלופא שהתחוללה לפני בית הכנסת של הבבליים בפוסטאט. במהלך התקרית היכה אבו אלופא את אבו אלבהא שוב ושוב, קרע את בגדיו וחשף את ראשו. הדיין אפרים (בן משולם, פעיל בערך 1141–1159) הוסיף אישור משלו בתחתית המסמך ושלח את העדויות לנגיד (שמואל בן חנניה).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal testimonies embedded in a letter format. Testimonies made by Abū l-Khayr and Peraḥya about a physical argument between the leader Abū l-Bahā and Abū l-Wafā in front of the Babylonian synagogue in Fusṭāṭ, during which Abū l-Wafā beat Abū l-Bahā repeatedly, tearing his clothes and uncovering his head. The judge Efrayim (b. Meshullam, active ca. 1141–59) added an attestation underneath and sent the testimonies to the Nagid (Shemuʾel b. Ḥananya). (Information from CUDL and Goitein's attached notes.)
