כתובה לנישואין מקהיר, מיום שישי ו' באלול ה'תקע"ו (1816). החתן: רפאל טורטוס בן מרקאדו. הכלה: אסתר תנתן(?) בת אליהו ראובן. סך תשלומי הנישואין יחד עם הנדוניה עומד על 110,000 מדינים. החתימו שני עדים, ביניהם דוד בן נעים (כעד וגם בשליחות החתן). חתימת העד הראשון אינה ברורה, ואולי יש לקרוא בה אברהם(?) יוסף אנג'יל. קיימת דוגמה נוספת של חתימה זו בכתובה אחרת, ושם המשפחה "אנג'יל" מוכר בקהיר בסביבות מפנה המאה התשע-עשרה. הכותרת והשוליים של המסמך מעוטרים בעיטורי פרחים וציפורים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Marriage contract (ketubba). Location: Cairo. Dated: Friday, 6 Elul 5576 AM, which is 1816 CE. Groom: Refael Tortos b. Merkado. Bride: Esther Tantan (? תנתן) bt. Eliyahu Reʾuben. The marriage payments together with the dowry amount to 110,000 medins. Witnessed by two people including the David ben Naʿīm (as a witness and on behalf of the groom). The first witness signature is unclear, perhaps Avraham(?) Yosef Angel (אנג'יל). For another instance of this signature, see Yevr. II K 59 (PGPID 27802).
