קינות בעברית על מותן של נשים, וביניהן לפחות אחת שהמשורר חיבר על מות בתו שלו. יהיה מעניין להשוות את הקינות הללו לקינותיו של אבו חיאן אלאנדלסי (נפטר 1344) על בתו נֻצ'אר (ראו למשל את מאמרו של הומרין על השירה בתקופה הממלוכית, שבו נאמר כי "אפילו אלגיה בודדת על בת היא נדירה בשירה הערבית"). חלק מהמידע מבוסס על כרטיסייתו של גויטיין.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Dirges in Hebrew for the deaths of women, including at least one that the poet composed for his own daughter. It would be interesting to compare these to Abū Ḥayyān al-Andalusi's (d. 1344) dirges for his daughter Nuḍār (see e.g. Homerin, "Reflection on Poetry in the Mamluk Age," where it is stated that "even a single elegy for a daughter is rare in Arabic poetry").
