שריד ממכתב של חזן המתאר את ביקורו של הנגיד בעיר, ככל הנראה אלכסנדריה, במהלך החגים. הנגיד ביקר בבית הכנסת של הבבליים, ובמעמד נכחו 300 איש. המכתב כולל גם פירוט של מחירי החיטה והלחם, ומדווח כי הגזירות והצעדים המעיקים הוקלו במידת מה. (המידע מבוסס על רשימותיו וכרטיסיית המפתח של גויטיין.)
Princeton Geniza Project description: Fragment of a letter of a cantor describing the visit of the Nagid in a town, probably Alexandria, during the holidays. The Nagid visited the synagogue of the Babylonians. 300 persons were present. Also lists prices of wheat and bread and reports that the oppressive measures had been slightly relaxed.
