מכתב מאת אסמאעיל בן פרח באלכסנדריה אל נהראי בן נסים בפסטאט, מיום 23 בספטמבר 1056. המכתב כולל פרטים על משלוחי כספים וסחורות, ובו כמה בקשות לשלוח מכתבים, וכן בקשות הקשורות לרכישת סחורות (בעיקר סוכר) ולמכירת סחורות (בעיקר משי) בפסטאט. כמו כן מוזכר משלוח גדול של שעווה שנשלח אל השלטונות. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Isma’il b. Farah, Alexandria, to Nahray b. Nissim, Fustat. September 23, 1056. The letter contains details about shipments of money and goods, and several requests to send letters, as well as requests related to buying goods (mainly sugar) and selling goods (mainly silk) in Fustat.
