מסמך משפטי. רישום בית דין. תאריך: ח׳ באייר ד׳תתנ״ו (16 באפריל 1095) (ליברמן קורא ד׳תת״ר, אך נראה ברור למדי שמדובר בד׳תתנ״ו; לדעת ק״ר זהו ד׳תתנ״ז על סמך מסמכים מתוארכים אחרים של נהראי). חתום על ידי נסים בן נהראי, הדיין יצחק בן שמואל הספרדי, והלל בן עלי. הצד הקדמי (recto) ותחילת הטור הראשון של הצד האחורי (verso) עוסקים בשותפות בין יחיא הלוי ואבו עלי יפת בן אברהם, הכוללת מסחר בסחורות ואספקת מתכת למטבעה (דאר אלצ׳רב). הרווחים בין השותפים אמורים להתחלק בחלקים שווים. הטור השני בצד הקדמי מתאר סכסוך בין שני השותפים, אשר עדותו עליה אומתה ונחתמה על ידי הדיינים בטור הראשון של הצד האחורי. הטור השני בצד האחורי עוסק בתביעה נפרדת, שבה יפת בן אברהם הוא בעל דין, והעניין הנדון הוא הטבעת מטבעות. כאן עמרם בן עזרא, המזוהה במקור אחר כ"שולחני" (בנקאי), תובע את יפת על עשרה דינרים. השניים ניהלו יחד מספר מיזמים עסקיים, ובהם כמה שהוגדרו כשותפויות (מעאמלאת). עמרם חולק על החישוב שערך יפת.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document. Court record. Dating: 8 Iyyar 1406 (16 April 1095) (Lieberman reads 1410, but it's fairly clear it's 1406; or could potentially be 1407). Signed by Nissim b. Nahray, the judge Yiṣḥaq b. Shemuel ha-Sefaradi and Hillel b. ʿEli. The recto and the beginning of the first column of the verso concern a partnership between Yaḥyā ha-Levi and Abū ʿAli Yefet b. Avraham involving trading goods and supplying metal to the mint. Profits between the partners are to be divided evenly. Column 2 of the recto describes a dispute between the two partners, the testimony of which is notarized by the judges in Verso, column 1. Verso, column 2, concerns a separate lawsuit, in which Yefet b. Avraham is a litigant and the matter is minting. Here, ʿAmram b. ʿEzra, identified elsewhere (T-S NS J401b) as “a banker”, sues Yefet for ten dinars. The two had a number of business ventures in common, including some which were defined as partnerships (mu‘āmalāt). ʿAmram disagrees with the reckoning performed by Yefet.
