רישום משפטי (מס' 44) בפנקס בית דין קראי בקהיר (בדף 16r של כתב היד). המיקום הוא קהיר, בהתבסס על הזכרת "בית הכנסת בית שמחה" כמקום הדיון. הרישום מתוארך ל-19 בטבת, אך השנה מצוינת רק כ"תאריכה", ועליה להתייחס לשנה ברישום סמוך אחר ולא רישום מס' 43 (שנת ה'שכ"ג / 1563), שכן 19 בטבת ה'שכ"ג נופל בתאריך מוקדם יותר (דצמבר 1562). שמואל בן יחיא אלפַירוּזי משחרר את אחיו עבד אלעזיז ואת גיסתו נֶסְבּ בת שלמה אללוי(?) (אשתו של עבד אלעזיז) מחובות קודמים. הצדדים מסכימים ביניהם שלא להעלות עוד תביעות או דרישות להחזר זה כלפי זה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record (#44) in a court register/pinqas from a Karaite beit din in Cairo (on f. 16r of Yevr.-Arab. I 328). Location: Cairo, based on the mention of the "Bayt Simḥa Synagogue" as the venue. Dated 19 Tevet but with the year solely as תאריכה, which must refer to a year in a neighboring entry other than #43 (5323 AM/1563 CE) because 19 Tevet 5323 AM yields an earlier date (December 1562 CE). Shemuʾel b. Yaḥya al-Fayruzī releases his brother ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz and his sister-in-law Nesb bt. Shelomo al-Levi(?) (ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz's wife) from prior debts. The parties agree to not seek any further claims or reimbursement from one another. MCD.
