מסמך משפטי (חֻגַּ'ה) שהוצא על ידי בית הדין של הקאדי הראשי בקהיר העות'מאנית, אלבאב אלעאלי. אינו מגניזת קהיר. מתוארך ל-19 בג'ומאדא אלת'אני 1051 להג'רה (1641 לסה"נ). המסמך מפרט את חלוקת הבעלות והסכם השימוש בין השותפים בבניין מגורים בן שלוש קומות בדרב אלקצ'יב שברובע היהודי. הדיירים-בעלים הם: יעקוב בן ח'צ'ר בן אליה, אליהודי אלרבאן (12 חלקים); יחיא בן אבראהים בן יחיא, אליהודי אלמע'רבי (6 חלקים); וסת אלבית בת מוסא בן מרדכי (6 חלקים). שתיים מהערות התיוק בערבית-יהודית מתייחסות לרחוב בשם "דרב קדים", ככל הנראה כשם חלופי ולא כשיבוש של قضيب לעומת قديم. אחת מהערות התיוק מתייחסת לנכס כאל בית כנסת (כניס), כנראה מתקופה מאוחרת יותר שבה שימש כבית תפילה קהילתי, אם כי ייתכן שהכינוי מתייחס לשלב שימוש מוקדם יותר, עוד לפני הוצאת החֻגַּ'ה. הערת שוליים בערבית בצד הרקטו (ثلاث نسخ) מציינת ש"שלושה עותקים" הוצאו: ככל הנראה ליעקוב, ליחיא ולסת אלבית.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document (ḥujja) issued by the chief qadi court of Ottoman Cairo, al-Bāb al-ʿĀlī. Non-Geniza. Dated 19 Jumādā II 1051 AH (1641 CE). The document details the partition and usage agreement between shareholders in a three-story residential building on Darb al-Qadīb in the Jewish quarter. The residents are: Yaʿqūb b. Khiḍr b. Elīya, al-Yahūdī al-Rabbān (12 shares); Yaḥya b. Ibrahīm b. Yaḥya, al-Yahūdī al-Maghribī (6 shares); Sitt al-Bayt bt. Mūsa b. Mordekhay (6 shares). Two of the filing notes in Judaeo-Arabic refer to the street as Darb Qadīm, which was more likely an alternate title rather than a misspelling of قضيب v.s. قديم. One of the filing notes refers to the property as a synagogue (כניס), probably from when it served as a communal house of worship at a later date, though, it's possible the designation refers to an earlier phase of usage before the ḥujja was issued. A marginal note in Arabic on the recto (ثلاث نسخ) states that "three copies" were issue: presumably to Yaʿqūb, Yaḥya, and Sitt al-Bayt.
