(מסמך מס' 32) רכישת נדל"ן על ידי חביבה, אלמנתו של משה ג'וואני, וחמותה שמחה בת שלמה הלוי כאתב, הפועלות כאפוטרופסיות בשם ילדיהן/נכדיהן יעקב ואסתר. הנכס ממוקם בדרב ואלי אל-ולאא', הידוע גם בשם דרב אללולואיה(?). מרבית הרישום עוסק בתיאור שרשרת הבעלויות והרכישות הקודמות שהובילו אל מכירת הנכס בידי ישראל אשכנזי לקטינים יעקב ואסתר, המיוצגים בידי אמם ובידי סבתם מצד אביהם. האפוטרופסיות של הילדים רוכשות את הנכס תמורת 7,500 מדין. חביבה מופיעה גם בחמשת הרישומים הקודמים באותו פנקס בית דין (מסמכים מס' 27–31).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal record (#32) in a court register/pinqas from a Rabbanite beit din in Cairo (on f. 8r-v of BL OR 6356). In Hebrew. Location: Cairo. Dated 1 Nisan 5443 AM, which is 1683 CE. (Document #32) Real estate purchase by Ḥabība, widow of Moshe Jawwānī, and her mother-in-law Simḥa bt. Shelomo ha-Levi Kātib, acting as guardians on behalf of their children/grandchildren Yaʿaqov and Esther. The property's location on Darb Wālī al-Walāʾ known as Darb al-Lawlawīya(?). Most of the entry recounts the succession of previous owners/purchases leading up to the property sale by Yisraʾel Ashkenazi to the minors Yaʿaqov and Esther, who are represented by their mother and their paternal grandmother. The guardians of the children purchase the property for 7,500 medin. Ḥabība also appears in the previous five entries of the same court register (documents #27-31). MCD.
