המשך של מכתב עסקי ארוך שנשלח מאלכסנדריה לקהיר. תיארוך: בערך 1235 לספירה, על בסיס תאריכו של מסמך אחר מאת אותו שולח (שיתכן ואף מהווה את שני העמודים הראשונים של המכתב הנוכחי). ייתכן שהסופר הוא טהור בן אברהם. מדובר או בעמוד השלישי של המכתב, הכולל את עמודים 5 ו-6, או בעמוד השני, הכולל את עמודים 3 ו-4; הספרה היוונית/קופטית "3" מופיעה בראש הצד הקדמי (recto). השולח מציין את מחירי הסחורות באלכסנדריה, ובהן אינדיגו, לבונה, קינמון, עץ ברזיל ופלפל, וכן את המסים והאגרות האחרות שיש לשלם כדי לסחור בעיר. קשריו המסחריים של השולח השתרעו עד מרסיי וגנואה. המכתב מזכיר את רבנו מנחם, בנו ויורשו של דיין קהיר יצחק בן ססון. המכתב כולל גם את האזכור הקדום ביותר הידוע ליהודים מאזור תּוּאַאת שבאלג'יריה (ראו מאמרו של גויטיין על ר' יצחק בן אברהים אלתואתי, בערך 1235, האזכור הקדום ביותר ליהודים בתואת).

Princeton Geniza Project description: Continuation of a long business letter sent from Alexandria to Cairo. Dating: Ca. 1235 CE, based on the date of T-S Ar.54.66 which is by the same sender (and may even be the first two pages of the present letter). The scribe may be Ṭahor b. Avraham. This is either the third folio of the letter, containing pages 5 and 6, or the second folio, containing pages 3 and 4; the Greek/Coptic numeral for "3" appears at the top of recto. The sender gives the prices of merchandise in Alexandria, such as indigo, olibanum, cinnamon, brazilwood and pepper and of the taxes and other dues that have to be paid to trade in the city. The sender's mercantile contacts extended into Marseilles and Genoa. The letter mentions Rabbenu Menaḥem, the son and successor of the judge of Cairo Yiṣḥaq b. Sason. The letter also contains the earliest known reference to Jews from the Touat region of Algeria; see S.D. Goitein, “R. Isaac b.
