מכתב המופנה לקאד'י. בכתב ערבי. נשמרות ~10 השורות הראשונות. ארבע השורות הראשונות הן בעיקר ברכות ונוסחאות סטנדרטיות. השולח ממשיך לתאר את הזמנים הקשים בְּ'כפר/אחוזה' (צַ'יְעָה) ובְּ'ארץ' (בַּלַד). מזכיר אַמִיר ואבו ל-פַרַג'. שימש מחדש לטקסט ספרותי עברי וערבי-יהודי. המכתב נכתב ברַגַ'ב, אך השנה אינה מוזכרת. דרוש בדיקה נוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter addressed to a qāḍī. In Arabic script. The top ~10 lines are preserved. The first four lines are mostly blessings and standard formulae. The sender goes on to describe the difficult times in the 'village/estate' (ḍayʿa) and the 'country' (balad). Mentions an amīr and Abū l-Faraj. Reused for Hebrew and Judaeo-Arabic literary text (between the lines and on the other side). The letter was written in Rajab, but the year is not mentioned. Needs further examination.
