שטר חוב. מתוארך ליום שלישי, כ"ח באלול ה'ת"ו, הוא 8 בספטמבר 1646. רחמים בן יעקב קיים ואשתו מהג'ה בת יעקב קיים מודים שהם חייבים 15 גרוש "אבו כלב" (esedi kuruş) לאהרן בן אלעזר רופא חזן, הנושא גם בתואר הקהילתי "ראש משמ[רה]". הביטחון (המשכון) שהם נותנים הוא הזכות ל"רחמימאת" עבור מספר פרשיות. מדור החתימות עולה קשת רחבה של רמות כתיבה — מן החתימה הבלתי-יציבה של רחמים בן יעקב קיים ועד לידו המאומנת היטב של אהרן מעמאר. מעמאר העתיק מסמכים שונים מסוג זה במהלך אמצע המאה השבע-עשרה, אך לעיתים נדירות בלבד ציין את עצמו במפורש כסופר. דוגמה יוצאת דופן לכך מצויה במסמך אחר (PGPID 27498).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Bill of debt. Dated: Tuesday, 28 Elul 5406 AM, which is 8 September 1646 CE. Rahamim b. Ya'aqov Qayyim and his wife Muhja bt. Yaʿaqov Qayyim acknowledge that they owe 15 Abū Kalb gurūsh (=esedi kuruş) to Aharon b. Elʿazar Rofeʾ Ḥazan (who also holds the communal title of Rosh Mishm[arah]). Their collateral is the right to the "Raḥamimāt" for several parshiyot. The signatures section shows a wide spectrum of scribal ability, ranging from Rahamim b. Ya'aqov Qayyim's erratic signature to the Aharon Miʿmār's well-trained hand. Miʿmār scribed a variety of documents like this one during the mid-seventeenth century but rarely listed himself as sofer.
