Princeton Geniza Project description: Verso: note of a merchant reporting his sale of commodities in ʿAydhāb in the month of Adar II 1440 Seleucid = February/March 1129 CE. Commodities include cardamom (hāl) and either small bags of saffron (zarnaba) or zodoary (zarunbā), see India Traders, p. 447 note 55. Weights are expressed in mann, bahār, and raṭl baghdādī.
