קטע מסתורי המכיל מגוון טיוטות ותרגילי כתיבה. הן בעברית והן בערבית-יהודית. התיארוך הוא מודרני מוקדם (לאחר 1500 לספירה) וייתכן שתאריך ספציפי מופיע ב-verso בראש הפינה הימנית: "[?]___שהר גמדאדי אלאול סנת עו". לא ניתן לקרוא את הספרה האחרונה בשל תנופת הסופר, אך השנה ניתנת לקריאה בזהירות כ-__76 להגרה (נדרש מחקר נוסף לקביעת המאה). הקטע מלא בטקסטים מסוגים שונים, כגון נוסחה לפתיחת חשבונות ב-recto: "קאימה מבארכה אן שא אללה תעאלי" (יהי הרשימה מבורכת בסייעתא דשמיא). חלק מהקטע עשוי להיות טיוטת מכתב לאיש חשוב. נדרשת בדיקה נוספת. Princeton Geniza Project description: Mysterious fragment with a variety of drafted texts and writing exercises. Both in Hebrew and Judaeo-Arabic. The dating is early modern (post-1500 CE) and there may be a specific date/year on the verso at the top of the right corner: "[?]___שהר גמדאדי אלאול סנת עו". It is unclear what the final digit is due to the scribal flourish, but the year can be read tentatively as __76 AH, probably with tzade sofit ץ indicating the hundreds place (976 AH) as is sometimes the case among sixteenth-century fragments. However, the "V" (1000) symbol commonly found in early modern fragments also seems possible (1076 AH). The fragment is filled with text of various kinds, such as a formulary for opening accounts on the recto: "קאימה מבארכה אן שא אללה תעאלי" (May this list [of accts.] be blessed by God Exalted). Some of the fragment may be a draft of a letter to a dignitary. Needs further examination. MCD.
