רקטו: מכתב בכתב ערבי. שבר (החצי העליון בלבד). הנמען מכונה בלשון פנייה מכובדת "חצ'רת מולאי אלרא'יס אלג'ליל". השולח מדווח שאבו אל-חסין סיפר לו כי הוא ובנו לקחו את הרֻקעה (עצומה?) אל הכורדים "שהתנגדו להם", אך לא הצליחו להגיע אליהם. הנמען וכן עֻדת אל-דולה מתבקשים להושיט עזרה בדרך כלשהי. ורסו: מכתב בכתב ערבי. בקשת הלוואה של 20 דינרים "לעניין חשוב". השוליים מלאים בשרבוטים בכתב ערבי בכתב יד קטן יותר שטרם פוענחו.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Letter in Arabic script. Fragment (upper half only). The addressee is greeted as ḥaḍrat mawlāya al-raʾīs al-jalīl. The sender reports that Abū l-Ḥusayn told him that he and his son took the ruqʿa (petition?) to the Kurds 'who opposed them' but did not reach them. The addressee and ʿUddat al-Dawla are asked to help in some way. Verso: Letter in Arabic script. Asking for a loan of 20 dinars "for an important matter." The margins are filled with undeciphered jottings in Arabic script in a smaller hand. AA. ASE.
