מכתב בכתב ערבי. נכתב על ידי מוסלמי, שכן הוא פותח ומסיים בברכות למוחמד. בתרג'מה הוא מתייחס לעצמו כ"העבד" (אלממלוכ). רוב המכתב עוסק בחשבונות, הנראים כחישוב של מס הצדקה הדתי (זכאת), שכן הכותב מכנה את הסכום "סונה". החישובים מכסים תקופה של למעלה מ-15 חודשים. מוזכרים יוסף, "האם" ו"הבנות". ככל הנראה חסר חלק נכבד בתחתית. דרושה בחינה נוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter, in Arabic script. Written by a Muslim, as he begins and ends with prayers for Muḥammad. He refers to himself as "the slave" (al-mamlūk), in the tarjama. Most of the letter is occupied with accounts, which seem like a calculation of the religious tax (zakāt) as the writer refers to the sum as "sunna". The calculations are for a period of over 15 months. Mentions Yūsuf, "the mother," and "the daughters." There is probably a substantial piece missing from the bottom. Needs further examination.
