מכתב הממוען לשלמה חלפתא ירושלמי ולמאיר אשכנזי, ועניינו עסקים הקשורים בסחר בתבלין הזעפרן (זעפראן). ר' יצחק לוריא (האר"י) היה אף הוא שותף בעסק זה. לפי דוד אברהם, יהודי מצרים מילאו תפקיד חשוב בסחר הבין-לאומי של המאה השש-עשרה עם אירופה. בצד הנגדי (verso): רישומי שמות וחשבונות, ובהם אזכור של רשיד ונסים ססון. מתוארך בקירוב למאות החמש-עשרה עד השבע-עשרה.
