מסמך משפטי: אקראר (הודאה בחוב) על סך 400 דינרים, אשר התחייב בו בטרוס בן ג'רג'יס כלפי אבו אלפצ'אאל עבד אלחמיד בן הבת אללה בן שועה היהודי. החוב אמור להיפרע בארבעה תשלומים חודשיים של 100 דינרים כל אחד, החל משנת 511 להיג'רה (1117 לסה"נ) ועד סוף חודש שעבאן של אותה שנה. ההודאה מאומתת על ידי העד [...] בן עלי בן ג'אבר. בצד ב' מופיעה הודאה שנייה הנוגעת להעברת חלק מסכום החוב שנעשה בצד א'. אבו אלפצ'אאל עבד אלחמיד בן הבת אללה בן שועה היהודי מעביר את שני התשלומים האחרונים מתוך 400 הדינרים שחב לו אותו בטרוס בן ג'רג'יס בצד א' (הדבר אינו ברור לחלוטין בשל הלקונות — ייתכן שההעברה היא לזקן אבו מפצ'ל הבת אללה בן חסן, הרופא היהודי, המופיע בשורה 9). המסמך חתום על ידי העדים עבד אלרחמן בן עלי בן אחמד ויחיא בן מסלם. כפי שמקובל לעיתים קרובות, העסקה המשנית נרשמה בגוש טקסט קטן יותר בצד ב'. התאריך המופיע בהערה בשני צדי המסמך, ב' וא', נכתב בזווית ישרה ביחס לטקסט הראשי, והוא העשור האחרון של ד'ו אלקעדה 511 — פחות משלושה חודשים לאחר המועד האחרון לפירעון החוב.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document: Iqrār (acknowledgment of a debt) of 400 dinars contracted by Buṭrus b. Jirjis from Abū l-Faḍāʾil ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd b. Hibatallāh b. Shūʿa the Jew. The debt is to be repaid in 4 monthly installments of 100 dinars each, starting from the year 511 AH (1117 CE) and finishing at the end of the month of Shaʿbān of the same year. The acknowledgment is witnessed by […] b. ʿAlī b. Jābir. On verso there is a second acknowledgment for the transfer of part of the amount of the debt contracted on recto. Abū l-Faḍāʾil ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd b. Hibatallāh b. Shūʿa the Jew transfers the last two installments of the 400 dinars that had been owed to him by the same Buṭrus b. Jirjis on recto (this is not entirely clear because of the lacunae — possibly to the elder Abū Mufaḍḍal Hibatallāh b. Ḥasan the Jewish physician, who appears on line 9). The document is signed by the witnesses ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. ʿAlī b. Aḥmad and Yaḥyā b. Muslim. As is often the case, the subsequent transaction is recorded in a smaller text-block on verso. The date in the annotation on both recto and verso, written at a right-angle to the main text of the document, is the last decade of Dhū l-Qa'da 511, a bit less than three months after the deadline for the repayment of the debt.
