איגרת מאת שלמה בן יהודה, העוסקת בסכסוך ובהחרמתו של "האיש הרשע הזה", וכוללת ברכות למנהיגי הקהילה ועוד. לפי גיל, האיגרת מתוארכת לשנת 1042 ומתייחסת לסכסוך עם נתן בן אברהם. באופן רחב יותר, ניתן לשייך את האיגרת לטווח השנים 1025–1051 לסה"נ — התקופה שבה כיהן שלמה בן יהודה כגאון.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Shelomo b. Yehuda, concerning a dispute, an excommunication of "this wicked man", greetings to the communcal leaders etc. According to Gil it dates to 1042 and the conflict with Natan b. Avraham. More broadly, an inferred date range of 1025–1051 CE is feasible based on the years when Shelomo b. Yehuda served as Gaʾon.
