מכתב מאת מרדוך בן מוסא מאלכסנדריה אל יוסף בן עלי הכהן פאסי בפוסטאט, מתוארך לסביבות 1065. המכתב נכתב בכתב ידו של בנו של השולח, מוסא בן מרדוך. במכתב נזכרות סחורות שונות, ובהן אורז, סוכר ומי קמפור (כפור). הכותב מביע צער על כך שמכתביו הקודמים של יוסף בן עלי הכהן פאסי לא כללו פרטים נוספים על שלומו ועל מצב העניינים בעיר. הנמען מתבקש לזרז את נהראי בן נסים להשלים עסקת קנייה. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Mardūk b. Mūsā (Alexandria) to Yosef b. ʿEli Kohen Fāsī (Fustat), ca. 1065. In the hand of the sender’s son, Mūsā b. Mardūk. Mentions various wares, including rice, sugar, camphor water and regrets that previous letters by Yosef b. ʿEli Kohen Fāsī did not include more information about himself and the state of affairs in town.
