רקטו: חלקה העליון של איגרת מאת שלמה (בן אליהו?) אל "אדוני אבי הנכבד". כתובה בעברית — דבר חריג עבורו. הוא מדווח על כוונתו לבוא לפוסטאט. ייתכן שיש בה אזכור של רשויות המכס: "בעלי המכס". "עליתי, אני ואמי והכלה, אל הבחור היקר תמים במנית [...]". ורסו: שריד של איגרת בערבית-יהודית. החלק ששרד מכיל בעיקרו ביטויים פיוטיים ורהוטים של ערגה וגעגועים. (חלק מהמידע מבוסס על CUDL.)
Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Upper part of a letter from Shelomo (b. Eliyyahu?) to "my honored father." In Hebrew (which is unusual for him). He reports that he intended to come to Fustat. May refer to the tax authorities: בעלי המכס. "I went up, I and my mother and the bride to the dear young man (ha-baḥur ha-yaqar) Tamīm in Minyat [...]...." Verso: Fragment of a letter in Judaeo-Arabic.
