מכתב מצדוק הכהן, השוהה בסונבאט, אל פרחיה הכהן, ככל הנראה בעיר מליג'. תיארוך: שנת 1460 לשטרות, או זמן קצר לאחר מכן, היינו 1148/49 לספירה. המכתב מדווח על תוכנו של דיון משפטי שהתקיים בפניו בעיר סונבאט. התיק תוארך ליום רביעי, בעשרת הימים האמצעיים של חודש טבת שנת 1460 לשטרות (=1148/49 לספירה), תחת סמכותו של הנגיד שמואל בן חנניה. מדובר בתביעה בין אבו אלפצ'אא'ל שלה בן נתן מצד אחד, לבין סעדיה בן יוסף ואשתו מן הצד השני. אביו של אחד מן הצדדים, ושמו נתן, נפטר, וקיימת מחלוקת בעניין פיקדון; העיר מליג' מוזכרת בהקשר זה. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Ṣadoq ha-Kohen, in Sunbāṭ, to Peraḥya ha-Kohen, probably in Malīj. Dating: 1460 Seleucid, or shortly thereafter 1148/49 CE. Reporting on the substance of a legal case that came before him in the city of Sunbāṭ. The case was dated Wednesday, middle third of Ṭevet 1460 Seleucid (=1148/49 CE), under the authority of the Nagid Shemuel b. Ḥananya. It was a lawsuit between Abū l-Faḍāʾil Shela b. Natan, on one side, and Seʿadya b. Yosef and his wife, on the other. Someone's father Natan died, and there is a disagreement about a deposit; the city of Malīj is mentioned.
