תיק מארכיון בית הדין המתאר אישה עובדת — מפרקת משי במלאכתה — מצור שבלבנון, אשר החזיקה בבית בבעלותה והייתה מסוגלת לשלם חוב בסך שנים-עשר דינרים לאורך מספר שנים, אך טענה בבית הדין כי היא פושטת רגל וענייה עד כי אין לאל ידה אפילו לרכוש לחם. המסמך מתוארך לשנת 1091.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Official copy of a court record. The first three lines state that Khalaf b. Natan b. Shabbat came to the court and asked to examine the court register (shimmush) with a document between him and Ḥisāna bt. Ḥasan al-Simsār concerning a sum of money. His request was granted and the document was copied out for him (l. 4 onward). The case describes a working woman (an unraveler of silk) from Tyre, Lebanon who possessed a house and was able to pay a bill of twelve dinars over the course of several years, yet claimed in court to be bankrupt and too poor to even buy bread; dated 1091.
