שריד קטן ממכתב שכתב יוסף בן אברהם, סוחר מעדן, אל אדם בשם אבו סעיד (ככל הנראה אבו סעיד חלפון בן נתנאל הלוי). מן המכתב השתמרו אך ורק הפתיחה הפיוטית (בעברית) והכתובת על גב המכתב (בערבית). נוסח הכתובת דומה לזה שמופיע במכתבים אחרים שנשלחו מתימן להודו, ועל כן ייתכן שהמכתב נשלח אל חלפון בעת שהותו בהודו. המידע מבוסס על מהדורת גויטיין ופרידמן בספר הודו, חלק ד'.
Princeton Geniza Project description: IB IV, 16 (ח20). Small fragment of a letter from Yosef b. Avraham, a merchant of Aden, to a certain Abū Saʿīd (likely Abū Saʿīd Ḥalfon b. Netanel ha-Levi). Only the poetic opening (in Hebrew) and the address (in Arabic) are preserved. The wording of the address is similar to those of other letters sent from Yemen to India, so plausibly this letter could have been sent to Ḥalfon during his time there.
