קטע ממכתב בערבית-יהודית. מתוארך לליל יום שלישי, א' באדר א'תקל"ט למניין השטרות = 9 בפברואר 1228. הכותב מייעץ לנמען לפנות אל אמהותיהם ונשותיהם של כמה "גויים של חסד" כדי שיתערבו לטובתו: אֻם אבראהים ובנה; האמיר נג'ם אלדין; אשת ג'מאל אלדין "שהיה בוילאיה (=אקטאע?)" של מבארז אלדין וייצג אותו "בשער הסולטאן"; וכן סת מסעוד. כמו כן מבקש הכותב מהנמען לברר אודות תכשירי משחות לעיניים (אשיאפאת). המידע מבוסס על כרטיס הערות של גויטיין.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter fragment. In Judaeo-Arabic. Dated: Tuesday night, 1 Adar 1539 Seleucid = 9 February 1228 CE. The writer advises the addressee to resort to the intervention of the mothers and wives of certain 'righteous gentiles': Umm Ibrāhīm and her son; the amir Najm al-Dīn; the wife of Jamāl al-Dīn "who was in the wilāya (=iqṭāʿ?)" of Mubāriz al-Dīn and represented him "in the gate of the Sultan"; and Sitt Masʿūd.
