תרגול כתיבה הכולל את בראשית א׳, 1–5, מנוקד בניקוד טברני בשורות 1–2 בלבד. הטקסט נקטע לאחר המילה "בקר" בבראשית א׳, 5, ומשם ממשיך כותב מגושם יותר במה שנראה ככתיבת שם: מוסאחר אבולחסן (כאשר ה-נון שנכתבה במקור בצורה לא-סופית תוקנה לצורה סופית), Musaḥḥar Abū l-Ḥasan. ישנן חזרות על הטקסט הכתוב הפוך ברקטו, וכן קטעים מקראיים נוספים (בראשית א׳, 1; שמות א׳, 1; תהלים א׳, 1) בוורסו ובשוליים של הרקטו.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Writing practice, consisting of Genesis 1:1-5, vocalised with Tiberian vowels in the lines 1-2 only. The text breaks off after בקר in Genesis 1:5, where a cruder hand continues with what seems to be a name, מוסאחר אבולחסן (with originally non-final nun corrected to final form), Musaḥḥar Abū l-Ḥasan. There are repetitions from the text written inverted on recto, and more biblical passages (Genesis 1:1; Exodus 1:1; Psalms 1:1) on verso and in the margins of recto. (Information from CUDL.)
