מכתב לאח. בערבית-יהודית, בכתיב פונטי (לפי גויטיין: "מעמד נמוך מאוד"). תאריך משוער: ככל הנראה המאה ה-11. הכותב חוזר ומזכיר לנמען לשלוח פריטי לבוש שונים (מלחפה, ג'ובה, ג'ביבה), ונוזף בו על היעדרותו הממושכת ועל אי-שליחת הסחורה. בקטע הברכות מוזכרים אמו של הנמען ואבו אל-חסן. בצד ה-verso מופיע פירוש על מסכת קידושין דף כ"ו ע"א מן התלמוד הבבלי, וכן הסבר כללי בענייני מתמטיקה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter to a brother. In Judaeo-Arabic, with phonetic orthography (Goitein: "very low class"). Dating: likely 11th century. Repeatedly reminding the addressee to send various items of clothing (malḥafa, jubba, jubayba) and rebuking him for his long absence and failure to send the goods. Mentions the addressee's mother and Abū l-Ḥasan in the greeting section. On verso there is a commentary on BT Qiddushin 26a and a general explanation of mathematical matters.
