שריד ממכתב בכתב ערבי רשמי, ובו השורה "אני לך כבן ואתה לי כאב". דרוש עיון נוסף. בצד השני (recto) נעשה שימוש חוזר בקלף לכתיבת חיבור אסטרונומי בערבית-יהודית. כתב היד דומה מאוד לזה של שמואל בן סעדיה הלוי (פעיל בשנים 1165–1203), אם כי צורת האל"פים נראית שונה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter, fragmentary, in formal Arabic script, including the line, "I am to you like a son and you are to me like a father." Needs further examination. Reused on recto for Judaeo-Arabic astronomical treatise (the handwriting of which is very similar to that of Shemuel b. Saʿadya ha-Levi (active 1165–1203), though the alefs seem different).
