איגרת מטעם הישיבה אל קהילת חצור. פרידמן מציע שכתב היד הוא של יהושע בן עלי, אך גיל חולק על כך וסבור שייתכן שמדובר בכתב ידו של שלמה הכהן גאון בן יהוסף. פרידמן מזהה את חצור עם רפח, ואילו גיל מזהה את חצור עם קיסריה. תיארוך: בערך 1025 לספירה (לפי גיל).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from the Yeshiva to the community of Ḥaṣor. Friedman suggests that the hand is that of Yeshoshuaʿ b. ʿEli, but Gil disagrees and thinks it may be the hand of Shelomo ha-Kohen Gaʾon b. Yehosef. Friedman identifies Ḥaṣor as Rafaḥ, while Gil identifies Ḥaṣor as Ceasarea. Dating: ca. 1025 CE (according to Gil).
