מסמך משפטי בכתב ידו של חלפון בן מנשה הלוי. מתוארך: יום שני, ד' באלול שנת 142[.] למניין השטרות, התואם לשנים 1109–1118 לסה"נ; האפשרויות הסבירות הן 1109, 1110, 1113 ו-1116. במסמך נותן הלל הכהן לאשתו את הזכות לעשות בנדונייתה כרצונה (תצרוף מלא — "תצרף תאם"), ובתמורה היא משחררת אותו מכל אחריות לנדונייתה. המסמך מציין כי כל בני משפחתה היו נוכחים ו"חתמו" עבורה. חתומים עליו: משולם בן מנשה החבר, משה בן משה הלוי, החזן מנשה בן יעקב הכהן, וחלפון בן מנשה הלוי. אישור התקפות שבהמשך חתום בידי אברהם בן שמעיה, יצחק בן שמואל, ונתנאל בן ישועה הפרנס.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document. In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi. Dated: Monday, 4 Elul 142[.] Seleucid, corresponding to 1109–1118 CE; viable options are 1109, 1110, 1113, and 1116. In which Hillel ha-Kohen gives his wife the right to dispose of (complete taṣarruf with) her dowry, and in return she releases him from any responsibility for her dowry. The documents specifies that her entire family was present and "signed" for her. Signed by Meshullam b. Menashshe he-Ḥaver, Moshe b. Moshe ha-Levi, the cantor Menashshe b. Yaʿaqov ha-Kohen, and Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi. The following validation is signed by Avraham b. Shemaʿya, Yiṣḥaq b. Shemuel, and Netanel b. Yeshuʿa ha-Parnas.
