מסמך משפטי בערבית-יהודית. מתוארך לליל שני, ג' באייר א'תש"מ למניין השטרות, שהם שנת 1429 לסה"נ. (התאריך אצל גויטיין שגוי ותוקן על פי המסמך בעקבות דותן ארד.) השטר עוסק בתיקונים שנעשו בבית הקרוי "דאר אל-נח'לה" (בית הדקל), שהיה ממוקם "בשכונה הקראית". הבית היה בבעלות מעורבת: חלקו היה רכוש פרטי של איש ושל בן אחיו (ששמותיהם נזכרים במסמך), וחלקו היה הקדש (וקף) לטובת עניי הקהילה הקראית (אלצעאליך). ייתכן שיש קשר בין בית זה לבין "דאר אל-נח'לה" שבחארת זוילה, הנזכר בשטר מסוף המאה ה-13. בצד השני (verso) של המסמך מופיעה תוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document. In Judaeo-Arabic. Dated: Monday night, 3 Iyyar 1740 Seleucid, which is 1429 CE. (Date erroneous in Goitein, corrected according to the document following Dotan Arad). The deed concerns repairs in a house called "Dār al-Nakhla" which was "in the Karaite neighborhood", that was partly privately owned by a man and his nephew (named in the document), and partly a pious foundation for the poor (ṣaʿālīk) of the Qaraite community. It might be related to a "Dār al-Nakhla" in Ḥārat Zuwayla, mentioned in deed from the late 13th century (PGPID 40228). On verso is an addendum.
