פרוטוקול בית דין המתאר התקפה על חזן, אשתו וילדיו באמצעות נעל (המידע מתוך כרטסת גויטיין). החלק העליון של פרוטוקול בית דין בערבית־יהודית, שבו מגיש אבו נצר אלחזאן תלונה על כך שהוא, אשתו וילדיו הותקפו. לאחר מכן העידו על ההתקפה העדים יחזקאל הכהן החבר ועובדיה בן שלמה, וציינו כי הקרבן הוכה בנעל (מדאס) ביום ראשון. יחזקאל הכהן החבר הוא ככל הנראה אותו יחזקאל הכהן החבר בן עלי החבר המופיע כעד במספר תעודות גניזה, שהמוקדמת בהן מתוארכת לדצמבר 1093 והמאוחרת בהן לפברואר 1102. אביו, יליד ירושלים, חיבר מסמכי גניזה רבים (לפי גיל פורסמו 23 תעודות הקשורות לעלי הכהן, האחרונה שבהן מתוארכת לשנת 1071).
Princeton Geniza Project description: A court record detailing an attack on a ḥazzan, his wife, and his children with a shoe (Information from Goitein’s index card) Upper part of a court record in Judaeo-Arabic, in which Abū Naṣr al-Ḥazzān files a complaint, that he, his wife and his children have been attacked. Afterwards, the witnesses Yeḥezqel ha-Kohen he-Ḥaver and ʿOvadya b. Shelomo testified of this attack, stating that the victim was beaten with a shoe (מדאס) on a Sunday. The former is probably the same Yeḥezqel ha-Kohen he-Ḥaver b. ʻAli he-Ḥaver, a witness in several Genizah documents, the earliest T-S 13J2.3 dated Dec. 1093, the latest Bodl. MS Heb. b. 12/4, dated Feb. 1102. His father, a Jerusalemite, is the author of numerous Genizah documents (23 documents related to ʻAli ha-kohen, published by M. Gil, Erets-Yiśraʾel ba-teḳufah ha-Muslemit ha-rishonan / Moshe Gil. Tel Aviv : University of Tel Aviv, 1983, vol. III, nos. 433-455, the last of which is dated 1071).
