מכתב מאת אסחאק בן דוד בן סע'מאר אל ברהון בן מוסא אלתאהרתי, אמצע המאה ה-11. הכותב מבקש מברהון בן מוסא אלתאהרתי לרכוש עבורו בדחיפות כד אחד או שליש כד של שמן בישול באיכות גבוהה, שעבורו כנראה כבר מצא קונה. המחיר הצפוי הוא דינר אחד לכד. (המידע מבוסס על גיל, ממלכת ישמעאל, כרך 4, עמ' 6.)
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Iṣḥaq b. David b. Sughmār to Barhūn b. Mūsā al-Tāhartī, mid 11th century. The writer asks Barhūn b. Mūsā al-Tāhartī to purchase for him urgently a jug or a third of a jug of high quality cooking oil, for which he appears to have found a customer. The price should be a dinar for a jug.
