מכתב מעיאש בן צדקה, השוהה באלכסנדריה, אל האחים ברהון ונסים בני יצחק התאהרתי, השוהים במהדייה. כתוב בערבית-יהודית. תיארוך: קיץ 1050. חלק מן העניינים הנדונים במכתב זהים לאלה הנידונים במכתב אחר, ועל כן סביר להניח כי שני המכתבים נכתבו בסמיכות זמן זה לזה. עיאש מדווח על סחורות שרכש עבור האחים, ומזכיר את "האסון שאירע לבני תוסתר", התייחסות שככל הנראה רומזת לרצח אבו סעד אברהם ואבו נצר חסד, בניו של סהל. עיאש מבקש סחורות מסוסה, מספרד ומסיציליה. כמו כן הוא דן בהעברת עצמותיו של נפטר מן המגרב לצורך קבורה בירושלים; ייתכן שהנפטר הוא אביהם של האחים, יצחק בן ברהון התאהרתי. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from ʿAyyāsh b. Ṣadaqa, in Alexandria, to Barhūn and Nissim b. Yiṣḥaq ha-Tāhartī, in al-Mahdiyya. In Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: Summer 1050 CE. Some of the matters discussed are identical with those in T-S 12.545, suggesting that the two letters were written around the same time. ʿAyyāsh reports on goods that he bought for the brothers; mentions "the calamity that happened to the Tustaris," probably referring to the murder of Abū Saʿd Avraham and Abū Naṣr Ḥesed, the sons of Sahl. ʿAyyāsh requests goods from Sousse, Spain, and Sicily. He discusses the bringing the bones of a deceased person from the Maghrib for burial in Jerusalem; the deceased person in question may be the brothers' father, Yiṣḥaq b. Barhūn ha-Tāhartī.
