קטע ממכתב מאת פרח בן יוסף בן פרח. סביב שנת 1070. במכתב מוזכרת מכירה של פשתן וסחורות נוספות, ובהן זרעי אשל ואגוזים. הכותב מצהיר כי אינו סוחר המשתתף במכרזים על עבודות כמו אחרים, אלא נשאר ליד חנותו. (המידע על פי גיל, במלכות ישמעאל, כרך 3, מס' 525). למעשה, כתב היד נראה ככתב ידו של יפת בן מנשה, והמכתב מאוחר יותר במספר עשורים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Fragment of a letter from Farah b. Yosef b. Farah. Around 1070. Mentions selling linen and other goods including tamarisk seeds and nuts. The writer declares that he is not a merchant who participates in tenders for work like others, but stays next to his shop. (Information from Gil, Kingdom, Vol. 3, #525) VMR The handwriting in fact seems to be that of Yefet b. Menashshe and is from several decades later.
