מכתב מאת יוסף בן לברא̇ט אלפאסי (זוהה על פי כתב היד), ככל הנראה מקירואן, אל יעקב בן יוסף אבן עוכל. המכתב מתייחס לחילוקי דעות בקהילת קירואן, וכולל המלצה על אדם צעיר בשם יוסף בן אברהם בן ספ̇וס, היוצא לדרכו לפוסטאט ונושא עמו מכתבים רבים וסחורות. המידע מבוסס על גיל, מלכות.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Yosef b. Labrāṭ al-Fāsī (identified on the basis of the handwriting), probably writing from Qayrawān, to Yaʿaqov b. Yosef Ibn ʿAwkal. Refers to disagreements in the Qayrawān community, and gives a recommendation to a young man, Yosef b. Avraham b. Safūs, who is traveling to Fustat and has with him numerous letters and wares.
