מכתב מאבו עלי, בבגדאד, אל בן דודו (אבן עמّה) תמים בן מוסא, בפוסטאט. המכתב נשלח אל אבו מנצור אלנשאדרי, שאמור היה למסרו לנמען. תיארוך: המחצית השנייה של המאה ה-12. הכותב ממליץ ומבקש תמיכה עבור אורח שעתיד להגיע לפוסטאט, שלמה מסג'למאסה, ככל הנראה מוביל המכתב עצמו. הכותב מזכיר את ביקוריו שלו בקברי קדושים ונביאים בעיראק, ובכללם קבר יחזקאל, ואת השתתפותו במג'לס של שמואל בן עלי גאון, מקום שבו דיברו בשבחו של הנמען. כמו כן נזכר אבו אלפח'ר חנין אבן אלסיראפי. המידע מבוסס על גיל, במלכות ישמעאל, כרך ב', מס' 88.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Abū ʿAlī, in Baghdād, to his cousin (ibn ʿamma) Tamīm b. Mūsā, in Fustat. Sent to Abū Manṣūr al-Nushādirī who is to deliver it to the addressee. Dating: second half of the 12th century. The writer recommends for support a visitor who is about to arrive in Fustat, Shelomo from Sijilmasa, presumably the bearer of the letter. The writer mentions his own visits to saints’ and prophets’ graves in Iraq, including that of Yeḥezqel, and his attendance at the majlis of Shemuʾel b. ʿEli gaʾon, where the addressee is spoken of highly.
