מכתב מלברט בן יצחק מקירואן אל יוסף בן דונש בפוסטאט, בכתב ידו של נסים בן יצחק בן אלסהל. הן השולח והן הנמען הם ככל הנראה מפאס, ומנהלים עסקים בין המגרב למצרים. ייתכן שלברט הוא אחיו של נסים. הכותב מבקש מהנמען לשלוח כסף שהוא חייב לסוחר אחר, אברהם בן ברוך, שממתין לכסף לפני שיוכל לשוב לספרד. במכתב מוזכרת ספינה בשם "אלמרכב אלמבארכ", שככל הנראה מדובר בספינה בבעלות המדינה או בבעלות פרטית של השליט. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Labrat b. Yishaq from Qayrawan, to Yosef b. Dunash, Fustat, in the handwriting of Nissim b. Yiṣḥaq b. al-Sahl. Both the sender and the addressee are probably from Fez, and have business with the Maghreb and Egypt. Labrat might be Nissim’s brother. The writer asks the addressee to send money that he owes another merchant, Avraham b. Barukh, which is waiting for the money before he can return to Spain.
