העתק של מכתב מהאיי גאון לקירואן, ככל הנראה ליעקב בן נסים. (חלק נוסף של אותו מכתב נמצא בקטע אחר.) המכתב המקורי נכתב ב-11 באוגוסט 1006. כתב היד הוא של שמריה בן אלחנן. הגאון פונה אל הישיבה ומבקש להעתיק מכתבים ולשלוח אותם לקהילות נוספות במגרב. (המידע על פי גיל.)
Princeton Geniza Project description: Copy of a letter from Hayya Gaon to Qayrawan, probably to Ya’aqov b. Nissim. (Part of the same letter is T-S 20.100r). The original letter was written in August 11, 1006. Handwriting of Shemarya b. Elhanan. The Gaon writes to the Yeshiva and asks to copy letters and send them to other communities in the Maghreb.
