מזכר ששלח ח'לפה בן יצחק בן מנחם מאלכסנדריה אל נהראי בן נסים בפוסטאט, סביב שנת 1045. המסמך עוסק בעסקה גדולה של חרוזים. הכותב פונה אל תחושת האחריות של נהראי, הן בשל קשריו המיוחדים עם בן דודו של נהראי, ברהון בן יצחק אלתאהרתי, והן בשל העובדה שהכותב "גידל" את נהראי. הוא מבקש ממנו ליידע את חסד בן ישר התסתרי בפרטי העסקה. אחד מעוזריו של נהראי הוסיף בשולי המכתב מספר פרטים בנוגע למשלוח, ונהראי עצמו רשם בצדו האחר של הדף פרטי חשבונות הנוגעים לח'לפה בן יצחק. המידע מבוסס על גיל, מלכות.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Memorandum by Khalfa b. Ishaq b. Menahem from Alexandria, to Nahray b. Nissim, Fustat. Around 1045. Regarding a large deal of beads. The writer addresses Nahray’s sense of responsibility, because of the writer’ special connections with Nahray’s cousin, Barhun b. Ishaq al-Tāhartī, and because of the fact that he “raised” Nahray. He asks to inform Hesed b. Yashar ha-Tustari with the deal’s details. One of Nahray’s assistants added several details about the shipment in the bottom of the letter.
