מכתב מיוסף בן אברהם בעדן אל אברהם בן יג'ו. גויטיין סבר שהמכתב נשלח לזביד, עיר חוף בדרום-מערב תימן, ואילו פרידמן טוען שאבן יג'ו עדיין שהה בהודו בעת שליחת המכתב, ומבין שההתייחסות לזביד אינה חלק מכתובת הנמען. גויטיין מתארך את המכתב לשנת 1150, בעוד פרידמן מתארך אותו לשנים 1148–1149. המכתב כולל פרטים מסחריים רבים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: IB III, 9. Letter from Yosef b. Avraham in Aden to Avraham b. Yiju. Goitein thought that the letter was sent to Zabīd, a coastal town in southwestern Yemen. Friedman claims that Ibn Yiju was still in India and understands the reference to Zabīd not to be part of the address. Goitein dates the letter to 1150, while Friedman dates it to 1148–49. The letter contains many commercial details.
