תעודה זו מתעדת את הסדר הפשרה בסכסוך המשפטי שבין דוד אבן סע'מאר/סע'מאר, נציגו של משה בן לברט, לבין יוסף לבדי. טיוטה של ההסדר השתמרה בצד השני של המסמך. הגרסה הסופית נחתמה על ידי חמישה מבכירי הקהילה: יצחק בן שמואל, אברהם בן נתן, נתנאל בן יפת, הלל בן עלי ואברהם בן שמעיה. לפי סיכומם של גויטיין ופרידמן, צדדי ההסדר הסכימו על שלושה דברים: ראשית, "לבדי, או נציגו, ימסור לדוד אבן סע'מאר באלכסנדריה שני בקבוקוני מוּשׁק שערכם לא יפחת מ-13 דינרים." שנית, דוד בן סע'מאר הסכים "לפטור את לבדי מתשלומים נוספים בעבור מחיר האלמוגים." ולבסוף, נציגו של לבדי (יעקב אלקלעי) יסע למהדיה ויברר "בהליך משפטי, האם השופט משה החרים 10 דינרים מוראביטיים ו-10 דינרי מהדיה." לאחר מכן ישלח חזרה למצרים מסמך מאומת המכיל את תוצאות הבירור. אם מסמך כזה לא יגיע, רשאי דוד להשביע את לבדי בשבועה או לקבל הסדר אחר. גויטיין ופרידמן מוסיפים כי מהסדר זה עולה בבירור שסכום של 13 דינרים היה סכום סביר עבור האלמוגים שדוד בן סע'מאר נתן ללבדי.

Princeton Geniza Project description: IB I, 18b. The settlement of the lawsuit between David ibn Sighmar/Sughmār, the representative of Moshe b. Labrat, and Yosef Lebdi. A draft of the settlement is preserved in the recto (I, 18a, PGPID 5386). This final version was signed by five prominent members of the community: Yiṣḥaq b. Shemuel, Avraham b. Natan, Nethanel b. Yefet, Hillel b. Eli and Avraham b. Shemaya. Goitein and Friedman (India Traders, 217) summarize the settlement as follows: The parties agreed that "Lebdi, or his representative, will deliver to David Ibn Sughmār in Alexandria two flasks of musk worth no less than 13 dinars." Second, David b. Sughmār agreed to "release Lebdi from further payments for the price of the corals." Finally, Lebdi's representative (Jacob al-Qalaʿī) will go to al-Mahdiyya and "clarify, by legal action, whether Judge Moses had sequestered 10 Murābiṭī and 10 al-Mahdiyya dinars." He will then send a certified document with the outcome back to Egypt. If such a document does not arrive, then David may impose an oath on Lebdi or accept another settlement. Goitein and Friedman add that from this settlement, it is clear that 13 dinars was a reasonable sum for the corals that David b. Sughmār had given to Lebdi.
