טיוטה של שטר מינוי עבור ישועה בן יוסף הכהן החבר לתפקיד ציבורי, או למצער איגרת העוסקת בלמדנותו ובענוותנותו ובהתאמתו לתפקיד ציבורי, ובה רמיזה ליריבות עם אדם אחר. כתב היד הוא ככל הנראה של ישועה עצמו, אף שהוא מתייחס אליו בגוף שלישי. התיארוך: ככל הנראה שנות ה-60 של המאה ה-11, לקראת סוף הקריירה של ישועה, על סמך אזכורו של אליהו בן שלמה גאון (כיהן בשנים 1062–1083). Princeton Geniza Project description: Draft of an appointment deed for Yeshuʿa b. Yosef ha-Kohen he-Ḥaver to a public role, or at least a letter concerning his learnedness and humility and his suitability for a public role, alluding to a rivalry with another person. The handwriting is apparently that of Yeshuʿa himself, though it refers to him in the third person. Dating: probably 1060s CE, toward the end of Yeshuʿa's career, based on the mention of Eliyyahu b.
