מסמך משפטי שנכתב בפוסטאט בעשור האמצעי של חודש חשוון בשנת 1478 למניין השטרות, הוא אוקטובר 1166, תחת סמכותו של הגאון נתנאל בן משה הלוי. זהו המסמך המאוחר ביותר הידוע לנו שמזכיר את סמכותו של נתנאל, אף שהוא עדיין היה בחיים בשנת 1169, כפי שעולה ממסמך אחר. הסוחר-בנקאי יהודה (אל-תאג'ר בדאר אל-צרף, כלומר הסוחר שבבית החלפנות) מקבל מהסוחר-בנקאי תמים בן מבורך הלוואה בסך 9.5 דינרים. בשטר נקבע במפורש כי 5 דינרים יוחזרו תחילה, ויתרת הסכום תיפרע בתשלומים חודשיים. השטר נכתב בידי שמואל בן סעדיה הלוי. המידע מבוסס על גויטיין בכרך הראשון של "החברה הים-תיכונית" ועל כרטיסיית המחקר שלו.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document. Location: Fustat. Dated: Middle decade of Ḥeshvan 1478 Seleucid = October 1166 CE, under the authority of the Gaon Netanel b. Moshe ha-Levi. (This is the latest known document to invoke the authority of Netanel, though he was still alive in 1169 CE, as we learn from Bodl. MS heb. a 3/6.) The merchant-banker Yehuda (al-tājir bi-dār al-ṣarf) receives from the merchant-banker Tamīm b. Mevorakh a loan of 9 1/2 dinars.
