Princeton Geniza Project description: A copy of the authorisation by Egyptian Jewish authorities of Avraham Maimonides’ enactment concerning procedures for issuing a ban of excommunication. Dated ḥol ha-moʿed of Passover 1546 of the Seleucid Era (= April, 1235 CE). Includes the authorisations by Shelomo b. Yishay Nesi ha-gola, Peraḥya b. Yosef the judge, Ahuv b. Yosef, Yiṣḥaq b. Avraham Sefaradi, Yoshiyya Nasi b. Yishay Nasi. At the bottom of the current recto there are pen trials. (Information from CUDL.)
