מכתב שנשלח לאישה, בערבית-יהודית, על קלף. תאריך משוער: כנראה המאה ה-11, ואולי המאה ה-12. המכתב מדווח על סוחרים שמצאו את מותם כאשר ספינותיהם הותקפו על ידי הביזנטים (אלרום). המצילים המוסלמים מכרו את כל הסחורות שחולצו בנוכחות הסוחרים ששרדו את ההתקפה. על פי הכתובת החיצונית, המכתב נשלח מאדם בשם סלימאן אל אדם בשם אבו אלפרג', שהיה אמור למסור אותו לנמענת. בסוף המכתב נמסרות דרישות שלום לאבו אלפרג' ולאבו נצר. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter sent to a woman. In Judaeo-Arabic. On parchment. Dating: probably 11th century, or possibly 12th. Reporting that some merchants perished when their ships were attacked by the Byzantines (Rum). The Muslim rescuers sold all the retrieved wares in the presence of the merchants who survived. According to the external address the letter is from a certain Sulaymān to a certain Abū l-Faraj (who was supposed to deliver it to the female addressee). Greetings to Abū l-Faraj and to Abū Naṣr.
