Princeton Geniza Project description: Decree of Bahrām (1135–37), the vizier of al-Ḥāfiẓ (r. 1130–49), safeguarding the monastery of St. Catherine at Sinai, its bishops, its monks, and their agricultural produce and properties from interference by local military and civil officials. The registration marks show that the decree was duly recorded in the relevant financial bureaus of the Fatimid chancery. Rustow's edition and translation fill in the gap Stern left at line 17 and improve on Stern in minor ways.
