מסמך מדיני בכתב ערבי, מן הארכיון הפרטי של הקהילה הקראית בקהיר. המסמך הוא צו (סִגִ'ל) מאת הח'ליפה הפאטימי אל-ט'אהר אל הקהילה הקראית. הח'ליפה מורה למושלים — ובמיוחד למושל ארץ ישראל, אמיר אל-ג'יוש — כי על הכיתות היהודיות היריבות לנהוג כל אחת על פי מנהגיה שלה בחופשיות, וכי אין להתערב בענייני הקראים בבית הכנסת שלהם. המידע מבוסס על מחקרו של שטרן על הצווים הפאטימיים.
Princeton Geniza Project description: State document, in Arabic script, from the private archives of the Karaite community in Cairo. The document is a decree from the Fatimid caliph al-Ẓāhir to the Karaite community. The caliph orders governors (more especially the governor of Palestine, Amīr al-Juyūsh) that the opposing Jewish sects follow each its own customs freely and that the Karaites be not interfered with in their own synagogue.
